Doom Mods:The Decorating of Gore
I've started doom modding since 2017. it was supposed to be "doomification" of Volition's Punisher game.
I wasn't satisfied by it, so i changed it too much to the point i just gave up.
through these years of scrapped projects, i thought that i could make a weapons pack that's pretty much Russian Overkill for both coop and deathmatch.
that works on a unusual source port everyone picks first for multiplayer doom sessions - Zandronum,
with more grounded weaponry straight from 80s, 90s and 2000s action movies.
I wasn't sure that mod would even come out, until a strange dream i can't describe properly but it enough energized me to the point i spent NIGHTS making it.
I made this mod for few weeks to the point there was 3 AM in the morning, with online private playtests with my (former or still) friends, mostly on map sets i find nostalgic now.
2022 is what made me go bit more bigger on this digital madhouse called Internet.
This mod was called Atom Rain. It was inspired by my friend who passed out, TiberiumSoul, known for his infamous semi-tactical gameplay mod about "extremely illegal" weaponry,Insanity's Requiem.
without his way of making weapons and effects, i wouldn't be there.
It eventually became a series of both experiments and fun things. with final mod, Stormtrigger, being personally, the ultimate result of my modding experience.
